00:14
praise God we just just live here we’ll
00:20
give it a minute or two for the people
00:23
will be ended in her end
00:27
good evening to all of you and greetings
00:33
in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and
00:36
our Savior dude I mean that father his
00:41
father and our Father which is in heaven
00:43
praise God were thankful for this day
00:49
I was said were to rejoice and be glad
00:52
in it and so I just wanted to say a few
01:01
words of greeting while everyone was was
01:04
getting on we’re we’re still learning
01:08
you know this this new era of doing
01:15
things you know broadcasting online had
01:22
a zoom meeting by Saturday several of
01:28
the Brethren got on it and just a way of
01:34
rather than trying to stay together and
01:38
hear from each other so if you don’t
01:44
know what a zoom meeting is it’s a
01:46
Versailles zoom app that many people can
01:52
get on it at the same time and they can
01:56
talk to each other
01:57
someone from how you use it on in the
02:02
Dominican Republic teaching and having
02:05
brother brother Green interpreting for
02:08
us and so it’s it’s a tool in our day
02:14
but it’s not something that we we’ve
02:17
used all that much but we’re learning to
02:19
use it during this coronavirus scare
02:23
that we’re experiencing anyway I’m
02:28
thankful that we’re back to having
02:30
services in our church and we are
02:32
practicing the spacing and you know
02:36
trying to be careful but it certainly
02:39
feels good to be back in church right
02:41
now on Sundays and this coming Sunday we
02:44
will have a Sunday morning Bible study
02:47
at 10 o’clock and I’m gonna have
02:49
breakfast at 9:30 but we will have
02:53
coffee and donuts and possibly some
02:58
juice of them exactly what the sisters
03:00
will have prepared there as far as
03:04
juicer we’ll have you anyway we’re
03:08
looking forward to that we will practice
03:11
spacing in the dining room with family
03:15
sitting together and then those that are
03:17
not in families and I think we have
03:19
enough nerve
03:20
that we can space from around our tables
03:25
and three or four people to the table at
03:27
the most and then you know I think we’ve
03:30
got enough tables we’re not going to
03:31
have regular Bible classes with the
03:34
youth for right now we’ll we’ll try to
03:39
refrain from that anyway it’s just good
03:42
to be with you this evening and I
03:45
thought I might mention something to you
03:47
I’ve been working on you know the
03:55
succession of prophetical events that
04:00
will have to take place before the end
04:01
of the world I’m pretty well went
04:04
through that it is on our website and
04:11
the painter saved it to YouTube and so
04:16
you can get on there and listen to those
04:20
those broadcasts that we had I have
04:22
asked for the painter if he can go back
04:24
and title them you know almost all of
04:28
them basically are that succession of
04:31
events that will need to take place in
04:36
that have been prophesied of before the
04:39
end of the Gentile world so they could
04:41
be labeled you know the same thing
04:44
part 1 part 2 and so forth anyway I hope
04:48
we’re hopefully getting you to get that
04:49
done for us where someone wants to go
04:53
back and go from the can
04:56
then I have talked a little bit about
04:59
the beginning with the letters to the
05:02
churches in Asia but I’m not going to
05:04
cover that tonight the first letters to
05:11
the church in Ephesus I thought I might
05:14
say something out of the book of Ephesus
05:17
tonight you know that letter was written
05:23
by the Apostle Paul in the early 60s ad
05:29
so it was several years before 80 70
05:32
however the clothes of that age was
05:37
coming upon them it’s possible that that
05:43
church started on Paul’s just short
05:48
visit there I believe it’s in the 18th
05:51
chapter of the book of Acts and possibly
05:57
Aquila Priscilla may have got bangs
06:01
started there after Paul was there just
06:03
for a short period of time
06:06
no Ephesus was a was a great place and
06:17
they’re just off the Aegean coast and it
06:24
was a very flourishing city I think
06:29
twice it was a capital of the of Asia
06:32
Minor and so it was a lucrative place
06:38
and Paul on his third missionary journey
06:42
there I think spent about three years
06:44
establishing the church and later
06:47
leaving Timothy as the bishop er as the
06:51
pastor there so it was a very prominent
06:55
work of the
06:57
also Paul and had great inroads into in
07:03
Dasia and minor so later of course after
07:11
Paul’s martyrdom John and Timothy of
07:19
course was the pastor there but John the
07:22
Apostle John took that work over later
07:25
became his home and were it said that
07:30
Jesus’s mother Mary was was also there
07:34
in Ephesus but the Apostle Paul wrote
07:40
just thinking about these scriptures in
07:44
in verse five and six one of the things
07:52
that’s been on my mind is the fact that
07:55
that early church was winding down in
08:01
the harvest that the Lord was was making
08:07
in the end of that world and so you know
08:17
I think we can glean some things and try
08:20
to get our mind working on you know the
08:23
very fact that that world was we saw
08:28
that early church that you know it was
08:31
established the harvest of souls that
08:35
were given a Sevenfold light or a
08:39
complete understanding of the purpose of
08:42
God and that actually reached into their
08:45
lives deep enough to to change them in
08:54
such a way you know and in the fifth
08:59
seal in the Book of Revelations the it
09:03
talks about those that souls that were
09:06
under the altar and how that white robes
09:09
were
09:10
and then in the seventh chapter talks
09:13
about this number of people to me
09:17
talking about the new earth people down
09:24
through the delay Nia millennium and
09:26
going on into eternity that they had
09:32
washed their robes and made them white
09:35
well we see in the book of Romans
09:40
you know Paul explaining how that our
09:45
father Abraham was counted righteous
09:50
righteousness was imputed to him because
09:53
of faith
09:53
he wasn’t righteous his faith was
09:59
counting unto him his righteousness he
10:03
nor even those of us that are striving
10:08
to in this work of the Lord we’re in the
10:14
process of washing our robes and making
10:17
them light however we’re like this group
10:19
in the fifth chapter of Revelations
10:28
excuse me in the sixth chapter and the
10:30
fifth seal that white robes were given
10:34
to them well they were they were martyrs
10:37
down through the dark ages and they were
10:44
counted righteous because of their faith
10:46
and their diligence to serve God under
10:49
great persecution and you know the Lord
10:55
wouldn’t take vengeance for them you
10:59
know remember they said to how long O
11:00
Lord holy and true this has not avenge
11:03
our blood God wasn’t going to judge
11:10
she’s not gonna judge the Gentile world
11:12
until the fullness of the Gentiles come
11:14
and he said they’d have to wait a little
11:17
season tether to their brothers with
11:23
suffer in the same way or be killed in
11:26
the same manner and so they God counted
11:35
them righteousness my point there just
11:39
they have a great resurrection in the
11:42
resurrection of the just and so just
11:48
like you and I if we’re diligent we
11:51
remain just that we’re just again is
11:55
synonymous with upright righteous
12:00
faithful wise those those are synonyms
12:11
that a saint or being holy those are all
12:18
you can link all those words together
12:20
with the just and white ropes are given
12:28
to us righteousness is imputed to us
12:31
when we’re living by faith and living
12:34
according to all that we know by faith
12:37
and serving the gore and the Lord while
12:40
we’re washing our ropes and making them
12:42
white in the blood of the Lamb we know
12:48
you know the red bloods not going to
12:52
wash you and make you white but it’s
12:54
just a picture that the blood of Jesus
12:57
are the the righteousness of Christ his
13:00
life that’s what the blood stands for
13:02
the Old Testament the sacrificial
13:06
offerings were off blood was offered up
13:11
of them to forgive sins and to sanctify
13:16
and that’s what made you white are
13:19
righteous in the eyes of the Lord that
13:23
that that was a type of Christ the work
13:26
of Christ
13:28
dying for our sins and becoming that
13:31
scapegoat
13:32
and so you and I are are blessed today
13:36
because we’re covered by the blood of
13:40
Jesus Christ or by his life is his
13:44
righteousness that there were life that
13:47
he lived and in the Holy Ghost and so
13:53
but where we’re working were laboring
13:58
far to be cleansed by the washing of the
14:05
water of the word and I was just
14:08
thinking of Paul in this fifth and sixth
14:14
chapter here where he was telling them
14:16
in the 16th verse or Ephesians 5
14:20
he said redeeming the time because the
14:23
days are evil back there in that
14:28
timeframe there was a lot of persecution
14:33
there was a lot of evil 33taking place in
14:35
that Roman world and the Christians were
14:40
suffering for it even like today we’re
14:44
not in the exact same place because they
14:46
were in a place where there was a
14:49
Sevenfold light and of a complete
14:52
understanding of the things of God and
14:56
the Lord’s coming was upon them in what
15:01
was called the day of the Lord and so he
15:07
was telling them to redeem the time and
15:11
but I think we ought to apply that to
15:14
ourselves today because you know time is
15:19
not certainly it is getting shorter and
15:22
we are headed into a the day of the Lord
15:27
and the restored Church but as we enter
15:31
into that we’re going to be somewhat in
15:33
similar place of these people that were
15:38
in the latter part of the early church
15:42
and as the as things were waning and the
15:46
church was nearing and falling away we
15:50
can see that as the church is restored
15:52
somebody said they came in the front
15:55
door we’re coming in the back door they
15:58
went out the back door but we’re coming
16:01
in the back door
16:03
and it’s so it’s different than the way
16:07
they started out on the day of Pentecost
16:10
with a bright light a full manifestation
16:15
of the Lord Jesus Christ and a Sevenfold
16:19
light a candlestick light a perfect
16:23
understanding of God’s Word was afforded
16:26
them by the post aaalac ministry back
16:29
there and so as the church is restored
16:34
will have that but we’re going to be in
16:36
a similar place as we as we enter in
16:42
we’ll be in somewhat of a similar place
16:45
so I’m considering some of these things
16:48
that I’m reading and Paul’s writings a
16:51
latter part of that work back there
16:55
he says we’re four verse 17 wherefore be
16:58
not unwise but understanding what the
17:02
will of the Lord is and be not drunk
17:06
with wine wherein is excess but be
17:08
filled with the spirit speaking to
17:13
yourselves in Psalms and hymns and
17:15
spiritual songs singing and making
17:17
melody in your heart to the Lord
17:20
giving thanks always for all things unto
17:23
God and the Father in the name of our
17:25
Lord Jesus Christ
17:28
[Music]
17:30
submitting verse 21 submitting
17:33
yourselves one to another in the fear of
17:35
God and then he he in making that
17:40
statement of submitting yourself
17:43
he enters right into just the natural
17:47
order that that the Lord has for a man
17:53
and his wife and his children and of
17:56
course he ends it up said this is a
17:58
great mystery but I’m talking about the
18:00
church I’ve often said that marriage is
18:06
a beautiful picture of our walk with
18:08
Christ the unity that were to have with
18:12
Christ we we are to be married and that
18:18
marriage is to be until death do us part
18:21
it’s to be a ongoing lifelong commitment
18:27
it’s a beautiful picture of our walk
18:30
with the Lord you know when you when you
18:33
get married you have to work you have to
18:40
work on your marriage you remember jesus
18:42
said that he was answering a question of
18:48
the scribes and Pharisees I believe when
18:50
he when they were asking him you know
18:54
about a man that a woman that had been
18:59
married a man he died and then married
19:01
to another man he died and they wonder
19:03
whose wife she gonna be in the
19:04
resurrection he said you do hear nothing
19:06
not knowing understanding the scriptures
19:09
and he said he told them that and and I
19:17
think also I may be thinking in the
19:20
scripture where Moses granted the right
19:27
for divorce but Jesus told them he said
19:30
it’s not it wasn’t so in the beginning a
19:34
man was to leave his mother and his
19:35
father and they too to be were to be
19:41
joined together and become one flesh now
19:46
those of us has been married a long time
19:48
I’ve been married I’ve been me and my
19:51
wife been together now fifty-fifty three
19:57
years I’ll say that we were right on the
20:01
verge of that but we’ve been we you know
20:03
we were courting in that long ago and
20:12
and you certainly have to work on a
20:16
marriage it doesn’t just work out you
20:21
know I’ve heard a few people my lifetime
20:24
then it made the statements I’m talked
20:26
about over people said me and my
20:28
husband’s never had an argument well I’m
20:33
not sure I can believe that because I
20:37
don’t know of anybody that come together
20:39
and don’t have to work on their
20:42
relationship you have to work on your
20:43
relationship with with Jesus Christ you
20:48
know you you have to work on
20:50
understanding the Lord understanding the
20:53
Lord’s ways and you know there’s many
20:57
many different pieces of the puzzle and
21:00
everyone’s mind that everyone’s putting
21:03
this this puzzle together concerning God
21:07
and God’s purpose not only overall for
21:11
all of creation but for each one of us
21:15
individually and it’s not something you
21:19
come by easily or no have a complete
21:23
understanding of it overnight and then
21:25
as you get to know the Lord you have to
21:27
learn his ways and and there’s some
21:30
things that the Lord does that we don’t
21:33
understand and we have to accept the
21:37
Lord’s working sometimes we get a
21:40
greater understanding as time goes on
21:42
sometimes we never understand the full
21:46
wisdom of God
21:47
because he has a foreknowledge that we
21:50
don’t have and so Trust comes into
21:54
effect but the Lord here is I mean John
21:58
I’m sorry the Apostle Paul is telling
22:01
them to submit themselves one to another
22:04
in the fear of the Lord and then he he
22:08
touches on some very basic principles
22:12
verse 22 says wives submit yourselves to
22:16
your own husband’s as unto the Lord for
22:20
the husband is the head of the wife even
22:23
as Christ as the head of the church and
22:25
he is savior of the body therefore as
22:30
the church is subject unto Christ so let
22:32
the wives be unto their own to their own
22:36
husbands and everything well you know
22:39
unless you get a balance to this you
22:42
know I mean if a man just goes off
22:44
saying you know well my wife has to obey
22:46
me she’s gotta listen to me on the head
22:48
and take that kind of attitude they’re
22:51
missing it all together because if you
22:55
look at the very next verse husbands
22:57
love your wives even as Christ also
23:00
loved the church and gave himself for it
23:04
that he might sanctify and cleanse it
23:06
with the washing of the water by the
23:08
word well so here he’s working on unity
23:17
he’s working hard to accomplish unity
23:20
but he’s working on each one of us in
23:26
the fear Lord remember he started this
23:29
off set submitting yourselves to one
23:31
another in the fear of the Lord in other
23:34
words you treat one another and he tells
23:38
which ones are to be the other to each
23:44
other and that we are to you know have
23:52
had the spirit of submission in the fear
23:56
of God that
23:58
you know I’m supposed to if if I’m in
24:02
charge of anything I’m supposed to have
24:04
the mind of the Lord I’m supposed to be
24:06
very careful in the fear of God that
24:09
that the Lord is watching me and and
24:13
that I’m supposed to be doing this as as
24:16
the Lord would do and then whoever I’m
24:19
submitting to that’s over me I’m
24:21
supposed to submit to them as unto the
24:24
Lord and so it’s a joint effort that’s
24:28
the way marriage is to gain unity even
24:32
with Christ as we’re striving to for the
24:38
Lord’s will purpose in our lives I
24:43
certainly don’t believe that the Lord is
24:45
just wanting to be someone’s boss and
24:50
they have ever been do everything his
24:52
way I just think he wants us to be wise
24:57
and righteous in all that we do and do
25:00
it like he would do it because that’s
25:01
how you do it it did it wise and
25:03
righteously yet at the same time we’re
25:09
all individuals and not Christ didn’t
25:14
expect us to do everything exactly like
25:16
he does it he just expects us to learn
25:20
the way to walk righteously and all that
25:24
we do and he doesn’t expect us to have
25:29
that achieved you know as a babe in
25:32
Christ many expect us to grow and
25:34
develop and get there and so well it is
25:42
true that you know that here’s a picture
25:46
in the church that you know if we’re
25:48
going to become a part of the Bride of
25:49
Christ that’s one of the allegories that
25:53
the Bible depicts of those that’s gonna
25:57
rule and reign with him they’re called a
25:59
Bride of Christ there’s a picture there
26:04
and that’s what Paul’s getting at is the
26:07
picture of Christ and the church
26:09
of learning the order of God you know
26:13
there is a scripture in the thirteenth
26:15
chapter no excuse me of Corinthians does
26:21
that in the eleventh chapter concerning
26:29
the order of God and so the you know the
26:37
Lord’s want us to to develop in a way
26:42
where it’s so different than than the
26:48
way man does things you know the the
26:55
Lord is so patient and he what he
27:01
requires is that we grow and develop
27:09
righteously and that this submitting
27:15
we’re talking about is a voluntary
27:18
submission it’s not something that can
27:21
be forever demanded dictated to are are
27:29
required it is required but it in other
27:34
words if if you’re having to make
27:36
someone like a child if he goes into
27:40
children obeying your parents here in
27:42
just a little while but he is showing
27:46
that
27:54
you you know in other words we do have
27:57
to start out serving God through some
28:00
commandments and the Lord may have to
28:03
chastise us to some extent he may
28:05
require he can wear his children he’s
28:08
got a right to chastise is he got a
28:10
right to deal with this if he loves us
28:12
he’s going to try to help us and it may
28:16
take chastisement at times however you
28:28
know God wants us to grow to a place to
28:31
where we have come to a place of
28:34
understanding of the order of God and
28:37
the righteousness of God in fact
28:39
eventually you shouldn’t need a tutor
28:42
he eventually shouldn’t need a teacher
28:45
it eventually shouldn’t need a minister
28:48
if he came up to the fullness of what
28:51
God’s ministry afford you with that you
28:58
come to a place that you’re your
29:02
submission to the Lord is is through
29:04
your knowledge and your growth to wisdom
29:08
and finally it’s worked righteousness
29:11
into you where you automatically have no
29:14
problem with understanding how to walk
29:19
with God and and walk in His
29:22
righteousness and do as well and so here
29:25
were Paul’s dealing with you know this
29:29
this submission you know and you can’t
29:37
compare it you can compare it somewhat
29:39
to two natural things in life just like
29:42
a job you can learn a job well enough
29:45
dear boss don’t have to tell you what to
29:46
do you know what to do you know
29:48
everything required of you and you can
29:50
do it and you can do it to the tee you
29:53
can you can grow in God that way where
29:56
righteousness is developed in you in
29:59
such a way that that you understand
30:05
walking and
30:07
business and it’s become a part of it’s
30:10
not something you have to do it’s
30:12
something that you do because it’s the
30:17
right thing to do
30:19
however I’ve said many times that God is
30:23
so unique in the way that he created us
30:27
as individuals I’ve often used this you
30:31
know the fingerprint how that every one
30:35
of us it’s amazing to me that there’s
30:37
not any two fingerprints like well
30:41
there’s not to any two individuals just
30:44
alike that’s why I like to use that
30:47
person in the 12 chapter the book of
30:49
revelation concerning those in the early
30:51
church that overcame it says by the word
30:54
of their testimony I use that over and
30:57
over just to remind the people that
31:01
nobody has your fingerprint and nobody
31:05
has your testimony you’re the only
31:10
person that has lived your life you’re
31:12
the only one that has your mind your
31:14
mind is developed through environment
31:17
experiences and knowledge understanding
31:21
that you’ve come to whether its natural
31:23
or whether it’s whether it’s godly and
31:29
of course we
31:34
understanding developed in the things of
31:37
God
31:38
so here the Apostle Paul he tells
31:45
husbands to love your wives even as
31:48
Christ also loved the church and gave
31:50
himself for it in other words we’re to
31:54
try to live a life where we’re we’re not
31:58
demanding but we’re trying to harmonize
32:02
and understand our place in our position
32:05
our responsibility to the Lord and under
32:11
righteousness and it says that he might
32:16
sanctify and cleanse it with the washing
32:18
of the water of the word that he might
32:20
present it to himself a glorious church
32:23
have not having spot or wrinkle or any
32:27
such thing no we’re just not there’s no
32:30
there is no sin there is no fault in us
32:34
when we reach this glorious place at
32:37
God’s asking us to submit ourselves in
32:43
while we develop without a blemish so
32:49
walk men see he’s showing this men are
32:53
to love their wives as their own bodies
32:55
he that loveth his wife loveth himself
32:57
for no man ever hated his own flesh but
33:01
nourishes and cherishes Lord the church
33:05
so all of what God puts us over where
33:11
whoever you are you know it doesn’t
33:15
matter if you’re you know a husband if
33:20
you’re a leader if you’re an elder and
33:22
you’re you know wife or over the
33:26
household the children and we all are to
33:34
cherish and
33:35
up in what God’s called us to for he
33:39
says we’re members of his body and of
33:43
his flesh and of his bones for this
33:44
cause shall a man leave his father and
33:47
mother and be joined unto his wife and
33:49
they too shall be one flesh this is a
33:55
great mystery but I speak concerning
33:56
Christ in the church
34:07
Dupre ends that up saying nevertheless
34:09
let every one of you in particular so
34:11
love his wife even as itself and the
34:16
wife see that she reverence her husband
34:18
of course he’s talking to jobs people
34:21
you can’t get this to work in an ungodly
34:24
family arm or a family were only one
34:28
person is serving God that’s a difficult
34:31
situation but this is God’s intent for
34:39
how the church is to grow together in
34:42
God’s order and how that a family is to
34:46
grow together in God’s order nanny says
34:49
children obey your parents in the Lord
34:50
for this is right honor thy father and
34:54
mother which is the first commandment
34:55
with promise that that it may be well
34:59
with them thou may’st live a long long
35:01
life well you know if children are
35:05
brought up correctly and learn obedience
35:07
and the young age and they learn how to
35:12
obey in school
35:15
they on the job things are gonna go well
35:19
with him if they learn how to be
35:21
faithful and obedient under those that
35:24
are over them even if they’re not godly
35:30
God can direct you in in places in life
35:34
were I remember one time I had a man
35:38
under my ministry he the Lord moved me
35:49
over 700 miles from the church I was
35:53
pastoring and believe it was seven
35:57
families that moved with me didn’t ask
36:01
them to have been really even wanted but
36:04
I couldn’t I couldn’t that’s what they
36:07
elected to do and I couldn’t deny that
36:09
they’d been faithful to me and so we
36:13
made a 700-mile move and started all
36:17
over another state and this one man
36:23
that’s very faithful to me he began to
36:26
look for a job he couldn’t find a job he
36:30
came to me one day I was I was painting
36:32
in a little town painting actually the
36:36
police station that was known back in
36:38
the back painting the back wall of that
36:41
building and he stopped by there he knew
36:44
where was mr. boomy said brother Smith
36:47
I’ve looked for jobs and nobody I
36:49
haven’t found a job I’m having a hard
36:52
time finding a job and he had a fairly
36:56
large family and I listened to him and I
37:01
said if you’ll do what I tell you you
37:05
gotta give you a job and you will be
37:08
successful
37:10
he said alright what I need to do I said
37:14
you get up in the morning and you get up
37:16
everyday then you can look for a job you
37:19
just start going to stores in different
37:21
places forever you feel that you could
37:25
possibly talk to somebody you go in
37:26
there and ask if they have any openings
37:28
an application for a job and I said the
37:32
first person that wants to hire me take
37:35
the job I don’t care if they’re paying
37:36
minimum wage he said I can’t live on
37:39
minimum wage I said I know but if you do
37:43
that and then you work for that person
37:46
like you’re working for the Lord you do
37:51
him a good job I said I guarantee you
37:54
you won’t work there no time that
37:56
somebody will recognize and see what
37:59
kind of employee you are and somebody
38:02
will offer you a better job he said I’m
38:07
gonna do what you said I said of course
38:11
I’m speaking someone in faith but I knew
38:14
in the natural I knew that what I was
38:17
saying was right but I needed the Lord’s
38:20
help to help him as well as quickly as
38:23
possible I mean he went the next day and
38:25
got a job making minimum wage but he did
38:31
what I said he gave he did a good job
38:33
and there was a man in that place that
38:36
saw him and and when he kind of got
38:39
along he asked he said
38:44
would you like to have a better job he
38:47
said would anybody like to have a better
38:50
job he said I’d like to and that got
38:55
higher making more money harder work he
39:02
went to work for that man he worked
39:06
there for a few months and then somebody
39:10
a door open for him and he was given a
39:15
better job which he worked there for
39:17
over 20 years and got a retirement there
39:20
and was eight he was the leading man of
39:24
all so it’s just because that he
39:28
followed these principles learning how
39:32
to be obedient you see he was an
39:34
obedient child and a godly father and
39:37
godly parents and they taught him
39:41
obedience and he obeyed and that caused
39:45
him to be successful
39:50
it works that way in the kingdom of
39:52
heaven the Lord takes notice the little
40:02
story of Ruth you know she was obedient
40:07
she obeyed now she saw the principles in
40:13
that family and she wanted what they had
40:17
and when she went back to Israel with
40:20
her to begin to clean in the field of
40:22
Boaz Naomi told her what to do and what
40:25
not to do and Boaz told her what to do
40:28
not today he told her don’t you going
40:29
any other fields you only clean and he’s
40:31
my you stay with my man in my harvest
40:36
and she was obedient and she was
40:39
faithful and he noticed her and that’s
40:44
the picture
40:46
yes gleaning in the field of God’s
40:53
harvest and dog you know you remember
40:57
what he told her you remember what he
40:59
told it he told her he said you you keep
41:02
gleaming in this field and he said when
41:04
you get thirst pieces I’ve charged my
41:06
young men not to but not to hurt you in
41:10
any way you get thirsty you come to the
41:12
water pots and get a drink that’s the
41:16
kind of church God’s building in the
41:18
true body of Jesus Christ he’s calling a
41:21
ministry that will not hurt will not
41:25
usurp but they’ll love their wives in
41:30
time the church just like Jesus loved
41:34
the church and you can get a drink you
41:38
can get blessed in the spirit anytime
41:41
there’s plenty of water plenty of the
41:44
Spirit of God and and then he told her
41:49
don’t go in any other fields she’ll baby
41:51
you know what he told us decide we purse
41:55
he said yeah the girl over he said kick
41:58
off a few handfuls off the wagon extra
42:02
for her and that’s what will happen to
42:05
you if you have that kind of spirit of
42:09
working learning the order of God and
42:12
working with God and those even
42:15
sometimes you know I can say this my
42:18
wife if she can be here beside me I
42:21
think she would attest to it I’ve never
42:25
disobeyed a pastor ever said under that
42:30
I’ve had pastors tell me to do things
42:32
that I knew they were wrong and I obeyed
42:34
them because they were greater men than
42:39
I was and they weren’t perfect to me
42:41
they made some mistakes but I was more
42:44
than willing to take the good I could
42:47
get from from what little mistakes they
42:50
might make
42:53
then that makes sense I can tell you I
42:59
never disobeyed I mean it was over me in
43:01
the Lord
43:02
I never caused the ruckus I never was
43:05
rebellious
43:07
I’m thankful somehow obedience was put
43:11
in my life at a young age I saw the
43:13
benefit in it I see the benefit of it
43:16
and keen in God’s kingdom Oh
43:21
mainly what I’m talking about here is
43:24
Jesus in the church I’m talking about
43:27
principles of how to get ahead the
43:31
kingdom of heaven Paul was trying to
43:36
give that church in emphasis you know
43:38
when John wrote him that last letter the
43:41
first of the seven letters in the Book
43:43
of Revelations
43:45
he started off I believe by saying I
43:48
know that works let me just just read
43:53
that to you real quick now close at this
43:55
table
44:07
it’s in the second chapter where first
44:13
words and second verse in his letter to
44:15
them said I know thy works I know your
44:18
deeds I know your behavior
44:21
I’ve watched you know we used to sing a
44:25
song there’s an all-seeing eye watching
44:28
you watching you well God’s eyes on
44:32
these children and by labor I’ve watched
44:39
your struggles and thy patience they
44:45
were going through many things at the
44:47
time John wrote that and how thou canst
44:51
not bear them that are evil you know you
44:55
can love you can grow so fond and in
44:58
love with righteousness that evil is
45:01
just a something you can’t heart it the
45:04
bear can’t understand to be around it
45:06
you just want to get away from it well
45:10
God God wants that in that church Miami
45:15
said under the great Apostle Paul for
45:17
three years and then Timothy which was
45:21
his son in the gospel and I would almost
45:23
say when when he saw Timothy work you
45:27
saw the Apostle Paul working that church
45:30
was highly blessed there’s me either
45:33
coming on the scene in this next
45:35
generation some even in this generation
45:38
that a great men of God that the people
45:41
of God are blessed to sit under and so
45:46
I’m thankful to be a part aren’t you
45:50
praise God
45:52
let’s let’s keep these principles in our
45:57
life you can you know one of the things
46:02
that he told that assistant in that
46:04
letter when he told him they’d left
46:06
their first love he told him they were
46:08
lukewarm to go do their first works over
46:12
we’ll see a relationship and in a
46:15
marriage or any relationship can’t go
46:17
cold it can get lukewarm and the Lord
46:23
told him he’s gonna speak him out of his
46:24
mouth they didn’t do something about it
46:28
you can you can destroy a relationship
46:31
you can let it get cold on you and it’s
46:37
something that we all have to work on
46:41
you know I was thinking about one of the
46:44
things thoughts that hit me to the CP
46:46
before we started this broadcast was
46:52
children my what an experience raising
46:55
children and here’s one of the things
46:58
about children they’re yours
47:00
for as long as you live I don’t care how
47:04
old they are they’re your kids their
47:08
problems are your problems but they do
47:13
grow up and they do become they become
47:24
individuals they have their own life boy
47:27
one of the hard things about parents is
47:29
when your kids kids we’re only start
47:31
doing things that you don’t want them to
47:33
do they want to move off somewheres and
47:37
the wild blue yonder and chase a dream
47:38
and it’s so hard to let them go what’s
47:43
so hard to lose that relationship you
47:45
know because they didn’t I mean when
47:47
kids get away from you it’s just hard to
47:49
maintain that and you gotta let them go
47:54
yeah oh you do sometimes is turn them
47:59
all to the Lord to say god they’re yours
48:04
I’ve give them to you I’m asking you to
48:07
watch over them and help them you’re
48:10
fortunate for you kept yours and able to
48:12
keep them close but most people don’t
48:15
aren’t able to keep them all around
48:18
it’s such a blessing when you can but
48:21
it’s not always possible and that
48:23
doesn’t mean that it’s always wrong you
48:28
know God loves all of his children and
48:31
no matter what we do that’s the thing I
48:34
was telling you about individuality your
48:37
testimony you can do wrong and I’m not
48:41
saying this this all wrong but I’d say
48:43
you can do something that’s not God’s
48:45
will and he’ll stick with you and he’ll
48:47
help you work it out in the aleph you
48:49
turned something that’s not so good into
48:51
something that’s great that’s the kind
48:54
of God we serve so you know if your
49:01
children aren’t done everything you want
49:02
them to do today just pray for them
49:04
especially if they’re growing and doing
49:08
what they feel is right and you have to
49:11
pray and trust them and you know kind of
49:16
give them counsel is that they won’t but
49:20
you always don’t always know that what
49:23
they’re doing it could be the hand of
49:25
the Lord on so you have to be fearful
49:27
you know submit yourself don’t one
49:30
another in the fear of the Lord
49:33
wow this is my faith anyway god bless
49:37
your hearts let me remind you of our
49:42
some of our prayer requests before we
49:45
close off here this evening brother
49:48
Shelby Weaver and our church have stroke
49:50
yesterday and he said st. Vincent’s ICU
49:54
unit he is stable the report that I got
49:59
from him today I haven’t been able to go
50:03
see him yet and won’t left they weren’t
50:06
letting anybody in but they’re letting
50:07
one person a day in but they already had
50:10
someone there today
50:11
and I couldn’t see so would you please
50:14
pray for brother Shelby Weaver he needs
50:18
our prayers and and let’s pray I think
50:22
they got to him fairly soon and so
50:25
hopefully you know he won’t have any he
50:29
is suffering some paralysis on his left
50:32
side but we’re hoping and praying that
50:35
that they’ll be able to reverse some of
50:37
that they did get to him right away from
50:39
my understanding sister Amber Ratliff
50:43
needs our prayers sister Brenda Ratliff
50:46

51:08
stroke he’s having a pretty severe
51:11
vertigo I certainly understand that I’m
51:14
pray for me I’m still undergoing quite a
51:17
bit of vertigo I can do pretty good in
51:21
normal activity but any quick movement
51:23
you know looking down looking up turning
51:26
stepping down off of the step I’m still
51:30
very unstable that way and I just you
51:32
just have to learn how to live with it I
51:34
thank God I am much better than I was so
51:37
but keep praying for me we will have
51:44
service again I’ll mention it one more
51:46
time we will have a service Bible study
51:49
we’ll have coffee and donuts and maybe
51:51
juice I don’t know what else might be
51:55
lightly prepared but there won’t be any
51:59
cooking breakfast right now but we’re
52:03
going to do that we will have proper
52:05
spacing in the in that dining dining
52:07

52:11

52:41

52:44
their husband anyway god bless your
52:48
hearts all of you keep praying for the
52:50
Dominican Republic most of the works
52:54
missionary works many of them are
52:56
suffering to some extent where we’ve got
52:59
people suffering I’ve been giving I’ve
53:02
dulled out for over $4,000 in the last
53:05
month in the Dominican Republic trying
53:08
to help with food rice and ease and
53:10
there’s so many of them not eating and
53:13
they’re not able you know they’re not
53:18
working there’s many amount of work and
53:20
many of them are hungry some of us went
53:23
days without food we found out about it
53:26
we gets don’t begin to help them thank
53:28
you for those of you that have sent in
53:30
missionary offers to help us with that
53:32
endeavor god bless your hearts I’ll see
53:36

53:43
hands and be friendly but I’ll save wave
53:45
god bless your hearts have a good
53:47
evening
