  • Keys to how the Book of Revelation is written
  • Rev 4 is a picture of the restored church
  • 1 John 4:3
  • Before John saw the details, he first saw a restored church
  • The 4 seals in Revelation are in chronological order
  • The 5th seal illustrating the souls under the altar are martyrs from the reign of Catholicism, Rev 6:9-11
  • There altar is the brazen altar
  • The souls crying out to God is just like Able’s blood crying out to God. God is aware and will bring vengeance
  • The first 6 seals are synoptic and only a brief summary of event they’re describing.
  • the 7th seal opens up in Rev 8 and stays open until the end of the book, Rev 22.
  • the 7th seal contains the details that pertain to the previous 6th seals.
  • The Trumpets in the 8th chapter are also chronological
  • The 1st Seal – Christ
  • The 2nd Seal – Early Apostles who judged the mountain of Judaism
  • The 3rd Seal – The falling away of the Early Church Ministry who preached false doctrine and killed many people.
  • The designation of the 3rd, describes Eternal Judgement. There are/will be 3 Eternal Judgements. The Early Church, The Latter Reign Church and the Final Judgement

  • Rev 11 to the end of the book describes the 7th seal.
  • Rev 18 – God calls his people out of Babylon and then judges Babylon

  • The Beast and the False Prophet are cast into the Lake of Fire. This is the judgement of Babylon eternally. This occurs during Armageddon. What was not destroyed is Satan, until Rev 20.

  • This book lists all 4 catagories of evil.
  • A bottomless pit is a system with no foundation
  • God will bind evil during the last thousand years but not completely destroy it.
  • Jesus Christ and the Bride will reign for 1,000 years, with evil bound but not destroyed
  • At the end of the 1000 years, Satan will be loosed for a season. This is from the resurrection of the unjust. This will lead to the battle of Gog and Magog.
  • The devil is destroyed in the Lake of Fire.
  • Recap, the Beast and the False Prophet are destroyed at the beginning of the 1000 year reign. Then the Satan and the devil are destroyed at the end of the 1000 year reign.
